This V series inline needle valve has a brass body, aluminum T-bar handle, needle stem, integral bonnet, and female National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on both ends to connect two male threaded pipes going in the same direction. The brass body offers higher corrosion resistance than steel. Operating temperatures range from -6 to +00 degrees F (- to +0 degrees C) at up to 3,000 pounds per square inch gauge (psig) CWP (cold working pressure). The integral bonnet is forged as a part of the valve body and provides strength.
